A program by and through which we recognize people and businesses who "do good things" within our community.

No one ever sees the good within a community anymore. It seems that a persona can be sued simply because they've tried to help someone and the person being helped is somewhat "lacking in appreciation".

Well, we're about to try to set straight this horrible lack of recognition of "good deed doers" in the local area and we need your help!

2010 Hometown Heroes:

The following is a list of businesses and individuals who are helping with this year's "Christmas Giving" program in which we - in cooperation with others - help less fortunate families during the holiday season.

If you know of a person or business who's done something good for someone, nominate them by sending us an email explaining why you think your person is deserving of recognition as a "Hometown Hero" and we'll provide that much needed recognition and a few other nice things to let the truly nice people in our community know that they are appreciated. "Truly nice" can range from helping recover a lost pet to saving a life or even helping with homework!
